Supergirl Deluxe is a doll from DC Stars line by Tonner.
Originally, this doll is dressed in her iconic Supergirl costume, but mine was bought second-hand and came dressed in basic off-white slip and heels. Since I am not that interested in DC comics characters, but wanted her for her unique mold and style, it was for the best.
As a result of not having her original outfit, I was prompted to sew some clothes for Supergirl and my inspiration came from young Brigitte Bardot in film And God Created Woman, which made her a superstar and a fashion icon.
